Communication doesn't happen in isolation.
A child's communication develops within a web of relationships, environments and experiences; at home, in early years settings, at school and across the communities they are part of.
My work increasingly explores what happens when we widen the lens: from supporting individual children to considering the adults, spaces and systems around them.
I'm interested in how small, thoughtful changes can create more opportunities for children to communicate, participate and belong.
